About Me

Julia Wentz photo 2

I have been providing voice, music, acting, and performing instruction to the Salt Lake City, UT area since 2010.  Over the years, I developed an original singing and music program for small children, a Voice and Acting Workshop, and taught private voice and piano lessons. Today, I focus on helping teen and adult singers develop strong, healthy technique and become more confident, expressive performers. My teaching combines the science of how the voice works with sensation-based techniques and imagery, giving students practical tools they can understand, feel, and apply.

My adult students have landed lead roles in professional and community theaters local to the Salt Lake Valley, with teen students earning lead roles in High School and Middle School productions, as well as receiving leadership positions in their school's top choirs. Some of my High School students have also received Concerto Night honors and earned Sterling Scholar recognitions in vocal performance.
